The California Air Resources Board (CARB) will require that California shippers conform to new refrigerated transportation regulations effective January 1, 2013. To assist with compliance League members can access a sample letter here that shippers can use when communicating with carriers and transportation brokers regarding compliance responsibilities and a sample bill of lading (with suggested language to demonstrate compliance).
